Honeywell virtual network adapter

Hello Team,
our technicians need to connect their laptops to alarm systems from the company Honeywell. In order to do this, the software from Honeywell installed a virtual network adapter which only appears in the hardware list when you connect your laptop to the system via USB cable.
But then you still need an IP address which corresponds to the subnet of the connected system. We used the NSM to give our technicians the possibility the change their adapter settings without having local admin rights and it worked fine in Version 4. But since the update to 5.0.3 the adapter doesn't show up in the list anymore. Even after restarting the NSM after connecting the cable.

Is there a possibility to get this adapter up and running again?

Thank you in advance!
Tobias

Re: Honeywell virtual network adapter

Could you please first update to the latest version 5.0.5 and see if the problem still exists? We are constantly improving the software, so before analyzing this issue, we need to make sure it is actually still present.

If the problem is still there in the latest version, please open the integrated Tools section in NetSetMan Pro, open the Adapters Details, open and export the details of that adapter and send them to us.
