The owner of this website (Ilja Herlein, hereinafter the “Vendor”) takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and complies strictly with the provisions of the data protection legislation. Personal data is collected on this website only in so far as it is technically necessary. Under no circumstances is the collected data sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons.

The following statement provides you with an overview of how we ensure your data is protected, the type of data that is collected and the purpose to which it is put.

Processing of data on this Internet site

The Vendor collects and stores automatically in the server log files information transmitted by your browser. This is:
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (previous site visited)
  • Host name of the computer accessing the site (IP address)
  • Time of the server request

The Vendor cannot attribute this information to any specific person. This data is not combined with other data sources. Further, following statistical evaluation the data is deleted.

Personal data is only collected in the course of the order process. This data is used only for the execution of the contract and is not passed to any third party. In the course of an order each customer receives password-protected access to the customer area, where he/she can download the software purchased. At the same time all customer related data can be inspected and amended here. For tax law reasons, which require the archiving of concluded sale contracts, these amendments do not affect the archived order details.

The Vendor's Internet sites use so-called cookies at various points. Their purpose is to make the offerings more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files downloaded to your computer and stored by your browser. The majority of the cookies used here are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit to the site. By using this website you accept the use of cookies.

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, the Vendor needs you to provide a valid email address and information allowing us to check that you are the owner of the email address provided or that the owner of the email address is in agreement with the receipt of the newsletter. Further data will not be collected. You can at any time revoke your permission to store data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter.

Use of Facebook plugins

Plugins from (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, ⇒ “Facebook”) are used on the Vendor's Internet sites. If you access this website from web pages which have such a plugin, this creates a link to the Facebook servers and the plugin is shown on the web page by a message to your browser. This tells the Facebook server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of Facebook at the same time, Facebook will allocate this information to your personal Facebook user account. When using the plugin functions (e.g. clicking on the “like” button), this information is also assigned to your Facebook account. You can only prevent this from happening by logging out before using the plugin. You will find more detailed information on the collection and use of data by Facebook and on your rights to protect your privacy in this regard in Facebook's data protection policy.
